Tanva manages the V-Ventis and VTT Nippon’s Bangkok office. He advised and assisted clients on corporate and commercial matters including, foreign investment planning, corporate structuring, joint venture formations, commercial contracts and dispute resolution. He has led corporate legal due diligence reviews in the context of merger and acquisitions and preparations for initial public offerings.
Prior to co-founding V-Ventis and VTT Nippon, Tanva was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Thailand. He advised clients on Thai regulatory compliance issues including customs valuation, product classification, regulated and controlled substances, trade privileges, board of investment promotions, excise tax, board of investment privileges, and product rules of origins. His practices include trade privilege structuring, customs compliance, indirect tax structuring, and regulated industry compliance.
Before embarking on his professional career in Thailand, Tanva clerked at a law firm in Washington, D.C., that specialized in trade dispute litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the International Trade Commission. He had also worked as an assistant researcher at an economics and trade policy consulting firm.
Tanva has advised clients in the alcoholic beverage, automotive, confectionary, consumer electronics, consumer products, chemical, food preparations, metal, pharmaceutical, real estates, software, and telecommunications industries. He has been invited to speak at seminars held by the Federation of Thai Industries on customs regulatory compliance.
